Holiday Bazaar & Open House–This Weekend!
Lots of organizations are having Holiday Bazaars this weekend. So why come to ours? Well . . . along with the shopping opportunity, we offer, as always, a 24 hour meditation room, a Peace Park with walking trails, and sacred Buddhist structures (like the ones people travel to Asia to see). But you knew that!
Maybe you didn’t know that you can ease the stress of holiday shopping with some non-sectarian relaxation opportunities. We’ll be offering chair massage, reflexology, and “community acupuncture” (that is, a chair treatment) by a licensed acupuncturist.
Besides shopping, you’ll be able to personalize your gift with handcrafted cards. Calligraphy service will be available, and even instant haiku! Oh, and you can get your purchases gift-wrapped (by donation at your discretion) while you enjoy lunch–and a bake sale. You can bid on selected treasures at our Silent Auction, and maybe even win the bid on an adventure for that hard-to-buy-for person: a sailplane ride over the beautiful Harper’s Ferry area.
And of course there’s the shopping. We’ll be blogging this week about what’s unique at the KPC Holiday Bazaar & Open House—so watch this space!
