About KPC
Kunzang Odsal Palyul Changchub Choling (KPC) was founded by Jetsunma Ahkon Norbu Lhamo to uphold the Palyul lineage within the Nyingma tradition of Vajrayana Buddhism. The KPC mission is to inspire people to improve the world and end suffering for the benefit of all beings.
Lineage
Lineage refers to the transmission of the Buddha’s teachings from a teacher who has realized and accomplished the spiritual path to a devoted student who similarly attains realization and accomplishment and transmits this blessing to their student, and so on. Vajrayana Buddhism emphasizes the purity and blessing of the lineage. Can I visit the Temple even if I am not Buddhist? Sure! Buddhism is not a religion of conversion, and Jetsunma’s vision was for KPC to be a spiritual refuge for all people. Anyone is welcome to spend time in the Prayer Room (open 24 hours a day), enjoy the Peace Park from dawn to dusk, and attend most classes. ….more questions?
