See Jetsunma describe how rare and precious this opportunity is!

Video is from her introduction to the first time she offered this retreat, from November 2007.

KPC announces a rare opportunity to practice the Chime Sog Thig, Life Essence of Deathlessness, in a retreat setting with Jetsunma Ahkön Lhamo April 4- 10. The Chime Sog Thig carries many blessings for increasing one’s life span, strength, and activity.

The Chime Sog Thig empowerment is a pre-requisite for participating in the retreat.

Khenpo Tenzin Norgey will confer the empowerment at 10 a.m. on April 5 at the KPC temple in Poolesville, Maryland. (Those who received this empowerment in  August 2006 with HH Penor Rinpoche are also qualified to attend the retreat.)

The Chime Sog Thig is the practice through which Mandarava and Guru Rinpoche accomplished the state of deathlessness and became non-dual with Amitayus (the Buddha of Limitless Life).  Mandarava was the mystical consort of Guru Rinpoche, who brought Buddhism to Tibet.

Recognized as a direct emanation of White Tara and a manifestation of Princess Mandarava, Jetsunma has embraced the Chime Sog Thig as her heart practice and considers it the root of her accomplishment.

The opportunity to receive this terma revelation, freshly revealed within our lifetime, as well as receive commentary teachings and practice instructions from Jetsunma, the very emanation of Mandarava, is immeasurably rare.
