 KPC Sedona, Arizona

KPC Arizona’s activity centers on the Amitabha Stupa and Peace Park in Sedona, Arizona. Set on 14 pristine acres and surrounded by Sedona’s famous red rock formations, the Amitabha Stupa is a spiritual destination for people of all faiths. Dozens of local residents, visitors and groups come to this outdoor venue each day for prayer, meditation, and an experience of peace in a sacred place.

The local KPC community holds Buddhist practices at the Amitabha Stupa and offers regular presentations about the spiritual provenance of stupas in general and the Amitabha Stupa in particular. Schedules change with the season and weather. The day-to-day schedule of activities can be followed on the Amitabha Stupa’s Facebook page.

Visit the Amitabha Stupa and Peace Park

The Amitabha Stupa and Peace Park is open every day from dawn to dusk and visits are free of charge. It is supported solely by donations, which are gratefully received.

The Amitabha Stupa is located at 2650 Pueblo Drive in the heart of West Sedona. You can use this Google map, or these driving directions to get there:

From Highway 89A (the main road in Sedona), turn north on Andante Road beside the Circle K store. Proceed about a mile (toward Thunder Mountain) and turn left on Pueblo Drive, the last left off of Andante.  The entrance will be just ahead on your right. If the gate is open, turn immediately right onto the stupa land and proceed to the parking area. If the gate is not open, park on Pueblo Drive. The stupa is a five-minute walk from Pueblo on well-marked trails.
