We joyfully welcome Lopon Damchoe again this year. She is a Canadian nun in our Palyul lineage and the first western woman to have finished the nine-year program in Buddhist Philosophy at Namdroling Monastery in South India. She is currently studying at Harvard divinity school for another masters degree, and breaking away from her studies to be with us this coming weekend. Her knowledge of the Buddha’s teachings and her ability to deliver them so westerners can understand, makes her a favorite every time she visits.
