Jetsunma Ahkon Lhamo will teach and offer the Bodhisattva Vow Ceremony. This is a rare opportunity to take refuge with Jetsunma as part of the vow ceremony at 7:00 pm
11am Shower of Blessings Tsog Practice
1-3pm Music & Lunch
1pm Pot Luck
1-4pm Games table and prayer flag making table for adults and children
2pm Mandala practice and Tea Ceremony. All may participate in making offerings and enjoying traditional chai tea and “dresil” sweet rice in the prayer room
3-4pm Smoke Pots at Stupa
7pm Reception with refreshments

11:00 am – Making Offerings, What’s In It for Me?
Come learn why Buddhists make offerings, what sorts of things can be offered, what the significance is, and how making offerings can help you on your spiritual path.
1-2pm Smoke Pots at Stupa

1-4pm Prayer flag making and face painting for children
3pm: Mandala practice

Regular Sunday schedule
1-4pm Hang new prayer flags and children’s activities, including face painting.
The Lunar New Year will mark the annual flow of hundreds of multi-cultural visitors through KPC’s doors. Their presence is a reminder of the amazing diversity and inclusion that is at the heart of the Buddhist community.
And throughout the year thousands more will connect with KPC through prayer request, social media, stupa visits and hikes among the trails of the Peace Park.
