We had the absolute joy of a surprise visit from Khenchen Tsewang Gyatso Rinpoche at our Maryland temple this past Wednesday!

While Khenchen has visited KPC many times over the years, this was his very first time seeing our koi pond. The koi swam right up to the surface to greet him—gathering in a rush of bright orange and white to feed directly from his hands.

Peaceful moments like these are an example of the magic present on these grounds every day.
