Come enjoy the serenity of our “swimming jewels”

Come enjoy the serenity of our “swimming jewels” as they glide through the clear water. Many of our koi are so friendly they’ll swim right up to greet you — and some will even eat from your hand! The pond is open to the public during the day, offering a peaceful spot for reflection, relaxation, and quiet beauty.

You’re welcome to park in the temple parking lot or along River Road. The koi ponds are located on the east side of the temple grounds, along the path leading to the Garuda Aviary. View a map here.

Whether you are a fellow hobbyist or simply looking for a moment of peace, we invite you to visit, find a seat on our new viewing platform, and relax as you take in the beauty. In the video below, take a 5-minute virtual visit to the ponds to see our beautiful new viewing platform, watch the graceful movements of our mature adults, and catch a glimpse of our vibrant, fast-growing one-year-olds through stunning underwater footage.
