KPC Buddhist Relief Winter Clothing Drive

As we enjoy the beauty of the first snowfalls of the season, our hearts are filled with gratitude for your generous contributions to our Winter Clothing Drive. So far, we have distributed over 400 articles of warm clothing to Shepherd’s Table, and over 125 to the immigrant community we support. THANK YOU!

But the work is not done. We are still accepting new and gently used coats and jackets, and new thermals, hoodies, socks, fleece sweatpants, and blankets. Please do not drop off items – email us first at: helpthem@kpcbuddhistrelief.org.

Financial donations also help us purchase supplies in bulk. Click here to help us reach our goal of $5,000 for 200 winter sets – hats, gloves, scarves and sweat sets for families and individuals in need.

golden buddha statues on the Altar of 1000 Buddhas

One of the main focal points of the prayer room at KPC is the altar to the Buddha Shakyamuni. Representing the 1,002 Buddhas prophesied to appear in this fortunate aeon. Each Buddha statue is filled with sacred prayers and offerings, and sealed and blessed by His Holiness Penor Rinpoche and Her Eminence Jetsunma Ahkon Lhamo Rinpoche.

Sponsor a statue of Buddha Shakyamuni and help to ensure that KPC can continue to provide a place of peace, refuge, and 24-hour prayer. See a plaque with your personal dedication displayed for years to come creating a legacy for you and your family.
