Nyungne Retreat with Khenpo Tenzin Karze
November 8 – 10
Prayer Room only (no online option)
With the blessing of Spiritual Director Jetsunma Akhön Norbu Lhamo, KPC Maryland invites you to join us for a Nyungne Retreat, led by retreat master Khenpo Tenzin Karze.
Nyungne is one the most powerful practices in Vajrayana Buddhism to purify environmental pollution and our own faults, and increase positive energy and harmony that can pacify the suffering of all beings and bring peace to the world. It is also challenging!
The floors of KPC’s Prayer Room are hardwood. We have cushions and chairs for sitting, but not yoga mats or similar for prostrations. Plan to bring your own.
Due to limited space in the Prayer Room, registration is limited to 27 participants. Meditation classes will be canceled for the weekend to accommodate the retreat.
To learn more about Nyungne practice, see the complete schedule and register, scan the QR code or visit bit.ly/KPCNyungne. Questions about your ability to participate? Email us at kpc@tara.org.

Other Ways to Participate:

There are many, many opportunities to participate at KPC every single day, from volunteering to joining the Prayer Vigil, to requesting our nuns and monks to give house and business blessings. To learn more about all the ways there are to get involved at KPC, visit our website at www.tara.org.
One opportunity is to visit the Koi Ponds.

The KPC Koi Ponds are a peaceful, magical oasis, offering a quiet retreat from the activity of the world. Koi fish aren’t just fish that swim in circles; they are smart and curious. They see you and want to learn more.
Follow the red trellises from the driveway to find the Koi Ponds. Open 11am – dusk.
“Visit with them and enjoy. Let it relax your mind and bring peace. Let them work their magic.” – Jetsunma Ahkön Lhamo
