REPLACE —- Please enter your prayer request below. These requests are read aloud before daily group practices and ceremonies at the main Temple in Poolesville, Maryland. Prayer requests for the deceased are also included in a Tibetan Buddhist practice called Phowa that is performed once a month. If you have a prayer request for someone who has recently passed away, be sure to include the person’s name and date of death. You may make similar requests for pets or other animals.

When requesting prayers, making an offering or donation at the same time helps create a connection between what’s being prayed for and the prayers being made. This is an ancient tradition and is considered very auspicious.
