Come enjoy the serenity of our “swimming jewels”

Come enjoy the serenity of our “swimming jewels” as they glide through the clear water. Many of our koi are so friendly they’ll swim right up to greet you — and some will even eat from your hand! The pond is open to the public during the day, offering a peaceful spot for reflection, relaxation, and quiet beauty.

You’re welcome to park in the temple parking lot or along River Road. The koi ponds are located on the east side of the temple grounds, along the path leading to the Garuda Aviary. View a map here.

Fall Soirée at the Koi Ponds

Friday, October 3, 6:30 pm

Join us for an evening of music, delicious hors d’oeuvres, drinks (including beer and wine), and conversation – proceeds benefit the tremendous activities of KPC Buddhist Temple.

Cocktail attire is encouraged, but leave the stilettos at home! This is an outdoor event on uneven ground.

Funds raised ensure our doors are always open to the community.

Koi for Sale

Come discover the next living jewel for your pond!

In early May, our koi spawned — and they’ve been growing quickly! To make room in the pond, we’ll be offering some of our koi for sale, including a selection of larger fish. Sizes range from 2″ to 20″.

Each koi has been raised with love and care, and fed premium Kodama Koi food to ensure vibrant color and robust health. These fish have been healthy and thriving, and we can check them for parasites before transfer if you’d like extra reassurance.

Because koi are sensitive to colder water, they will only be available for purchase through the end of September. After that, sales will depend on water temperatures staying above 60°F to ensure a safe transition to their new homes.
